The ski area

The Milky Way (Vialattea), the site of the Olympic Games in 2006, is a ski area with 400 km of pistes that comprises 6 ski resorts located along the Franco-Italian border - Sauze d'Oulz, Sancicario, Cesana, Claviere, Mongenèvre (the only departure point in France) and the well-known Sestrieres.
 
The Franco-Italian ski area that unites 154 ski runs, 83 lifts and more than 1 000 snow canons, also benefits from exceptional natural levels of snow coverage and sunshine. The Olympian thrills of racing down the pistes used by the greatest ski champions are now all yours!
