The Milky
Way (Vialattea), the site of the Olympic Games in 2006, is a ski area with 400 km of pistes that
comprises 6 ski resorts located along the Franco-Italian border - Sauze d'Oulz,
Sancicario, Cesana, Claviere, Mongenèvre(the
only departure point in France) and the well-known Sestrieres.
The Franco-Italian ski area that unites 145 ski runs, 88 lifts and more than 1
000 snow canons, also benefits from exceptional natural
