Valmorel is a 4th generation ski resort at the heart of the Tarentaise belonging to the Grand Domaine ski area in conjunction with Saint François Longchamp and Doucy-Combelouvière. You can enjoy one of the largest ski areas in the Alps with 165 km of pistes spread over 86 pistes.
 
Valmorel is a village resort with its authentic architecture (typically Savoyard chalets) in a beautiful setting at 1320m altitude. At the top of the legendary Col de la Madeleine, repeatedly borrowed by the riders of the Tour de France, enjoy the many activities offered by the winter and summer resort.
 
With a large area of nordic skiing you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Tarentaise, as different snowshoeing or dogsledding available throughout the winter season.
 
In terms of new features for the 2023/2024 winter season, the new Planchamp gondola will leave from the pedestrian street of Valmorel Village and will be able to transport up to 10 people simultaneously to the ski area.

By car Highway A43 from Chambéry or Grenoble to Albertville or N 212 from Annecy. Then 2x2 ways RN 90 in the direction of Moûtiers and take the exit 37 to Valmorel.
