The more classic, but no less enjoyable activities :
Snowshoeing
This practice is very appreciated by all, because it is very easy to access. The snowshoe can be slipped on over the après-ski, and allows you to walk in complete stability in the snow. Various hiking routes are accessible in the middle of snowy panoramas, and allow you to easily enter in communion with nature. More and more resorts are offering marked trails. Before setting off, remember to take water, warm and comfortable clothing, sunglasses and sun cream. (We remind you that even in bad weather, the sun reflects off the snow). Some resorts also offer snowshoe and yoga hikes, which allow you to find yourself and meditate with full awareness in the middle of nature. This interlude of well-being allows you to disconnect from stress and to recharge your batteries.
Tobogganing
There's nothing like sledging for a fun family outing! Sledding can be done on a track or on rails. You can slide on wooden or plastic sleds. Keep your distance and do it in suitable areas. Make sure you cover yourself from head to toe.
Snow bike
This small motorbike equipped with skis is an ideal sport for motorized gliding enthusiasts. You must be of age and have a driving licence. Rent a snowmobile and ride in the heart of the Alps. Snowmobiling is done on dedicated trails or when the slopes are closed. As this activity is mainly practiced at night, it is important to dress warmly to make the most of the ride.
Ice skating
Try a different kind of sliding by putting on ice skates. We recommend that you wear practical and comfortable clothing so that you can move freely. Beginners and experts alike need to be flexible and agile, coordinate their movements and have a sense of balance. Wear gloves and even a helmet to protect yourself in case of a fall.
Yooner or Paret
The yooner is the "modern" version of the paret, a mix between the ski and the luge. Indeed, this machine consists of a ski with a seat and a handle to guide it. It is very easy to use and is ideal for a family outing or with children. It is ideal for young and old alike. Easy to learn, you don't need to know how to ski. Many resorts offer this very accessible sport. A simple ski suit and après-ski are enough to practice it. For added safety, a helmet is available.
